Never, Ever See Paycheck
John Woo's Paycheck is quite possibly the worst movie I have ever seen. Never see it. In every way you can think of it is bad. John Woo must have been drunk or dead the entire time. Philip K. Dick's work is getting pissed on, and it's excruciating to watch.

Posted on November 19, 2004 12:13 AMI saw it on an airplane. It didn't make my trip more enjoyable nor go by faster. Even Uma Thurman didn't bring any joy to the movie.
Posted by: agerard at November 19, 2004 8:32 AMIt was ... it was not that good, I am forced to agree. But it's no "Way of the Gun." That movie is fucking DIRE. (It has nothing to do with John Woo, I just thought I'd mention something that was at least worse than "Paycheck" by, well, a lot)
Posted by: Jon at November 19, 2004 1:52 PM"Way of the Gun" was okay. I think "Paycheck" was much worse. It's hard for me to admit that I didn't like "WotG" though because it was written by the same guy that wrote "The Usual Suspect."
