A little while ago (November-ish) I was on our friend Elise’s balcony and while looking out over the sterile and bland landscape of Arlington, VA, I noticed something on the sidewalk below.

I turns out that it was a reflection of these Bodoni-esque building numbers catching the sun and casting a distorted mirrored form with an interesting watery ripple. There’s a great poster in that type distortion.
