A Parent's View

A view down our wooden stairs, which are lit at their foot and get darker as they ascend. On the landing is a bookcase and a turquoise chair.

I’ve seen this view many times since Jocie was born. The light on the stairs as they ascend into the darkened second floor always struck me, so I decided to capture and share this little slice of my late-night traversing.

Haha...That's funny Chris. You should also photograph the microwave, milk powder, milk bottles, dirty diapers, little spit towels....since they probably also are a large part of your life. I'm right now in the middle of potty time, so changing wet clothing 7 times a day. The washing machine sees more of me as my wife who is feeling under the weather (pregnant).
